Eleague is currently in the middle of hosting its Street Fighter V competition, seeing some of the best fighters from around the world face off against one another, but now they have announced that they're doing a special event called the Street Fighter V Invitational Celebrity Showdown.
As you may have guessed, this will include celebrities rather than pro players, and attending will be former basketball player Shaquille O'Neal, recording artist Lupe Fiasco, American football player Reggie bush, and pro wrestler Natalie Eva Marie. Each celebrity will be competing for charity, and while the winner received the majority of the prize pool, the others will still go home with some money for their charity of choice.
The competition will be broadcast on TPS next Friday, April 28, at 22:00 ET, which is 03:00 the next day for BST, and host Richard Lewis will be joined by Steve "Tasty Steve" Scott, Zhi "Zhieeep" Liang Chew, Stephen "Sajam" Lyon, Reepal "Rip" Parbhoo, and reporter Malik Forte at the event.
