CWL GameBattles ladders and tournaments now live

GameBattles for CWL is now live as of yesterday, providing a potential entry point into the CWL with Pro Points available and tournaments to compete in.

On December 7 the CWL Pro Points Ladders opened, whereas yesterday the 2000 Series CWL Pro Points Tournaments became available in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America.

Here is some more information about the tournaments from the GameBattles site: "CWL Pro Points ladders will consist of a separate ladder for each region, NA, EU, and APAC. Ladder competition will start at 12:00 AM ET (NA), 12:00 AM CET (EU) [11:00PM GMT] & 12:00 AM AEDT (APAC). The ladders will be free to enter and require a minimum of four players 18 years of age or older to compete and these ladders will be governed by the 2017 CWL Handbook as well as the official rules governing the applicable ladder. You will be able to gain five CWL Pro Points per player per match win and 10 additional bonus points per player for the first win of the day."

"CWL 2000 Series Pro Points tournaments will be available in each region, NA, EU, and APAC. The tournaments will start at 12:00 PM ET (NA), 4:00 PM CEST (EU) [2:00PM GMT] & 2:00 PM AEST (APAC). The tournaments will be free to enter and require four players 18 years of age or older per team to compete and will be governed by the 2017 CWL Handbook as well as the official rules governing the applicable ladder. To see the point breakdown please visit the info tab of any 2000 Series CWL Pro Points tournament."
