G2 Esports player Adrian "Lifecoach" Koy is a former professional poker player turned Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft player, but it appears he's grown tired of the game right now, and vows to stop playing full time and will stop playing in both the competitive ladder and the Hearthstone Championship Tour (HCT) circuit.
This was all revealed via a vlog on YouTube where he says: "What I'm saying is, if you lose a game of Gwent, you know exactly why you lost, which might also be true for Hearthstone, but what I'm saying is, not only do you know why you lost, but it's basically always due to your mistakes, because you don't usually lose that many games if you play it properly."
He then goes onto talk about win percentages. "[This] can definitely not be said about any game of Hearthstone [...] In Gwent you have like 90% [...] but the funny thing is that if you play extremely well you might have 65 percent, and you if really, really play bad Hearthstone that day it doesn't matter, you still have 50-55 percent... You can play like crap and you can still have 50 percent, it doesn't even matter, it's not even that important how you... it's like coin flipping with a little bit of strategy."
In the same video he also criticises Blizzard's attitude towards combo decks and that the developer has done little to help the competitive scene, warning that Hearthstone players won't stay with the game but will instead go to other card games.
