Including big names like Cloud9, Misfits, and Immortals.
Sam Bishop 3 abril 2018

Clash Royale developer Supercell has announced the teams competing in the Clash Royale League from all of the various territories, including North American talents like Cloud9, TSM, Tribe Gaming, Immortals, NRG, Complexity, 100 Thieves, and CLG.

We already knew that the League was on the way, but here we have far more solid details, including the fact that 25 million players competed to qualify in the league as part of the Clash Royale League Challenge, with 7,000 players from 113 countries making it to the next round. All that's left to do, then, is for pro teams to create rosters for the World Finals event later this year, where they can compete for $1 million USD.

The European teams are Fnatic, Misfits, SK Gaming, G2 Esports, Team Liquid, Team Queso, Team Dignitas, and Allegiance, while China will be represented by EDG.M, GO, JDG, LGD, NOVA, OP, SNAKE, WE. Asia, on the other hand, will be represented by OGN Entus, Sandbox, Kingzone, OP.GG, GameWith, PONOS Sports, DetonatioN Gaming, FAV Gaming, AHQ ESPORTS CLUB, KIX, Chaostheroy, and Bren Esports, with Latin American teams being announced at a later date.

"It's tremendous how quickly Clash Royale revealed itself to be the next big esport and we are impressed with Supercell's thoughtful steps to build an exciting global league," said Jack Etienne, owner of Cloud9. "It's also incredible that the Clash Royale League gives every single player the opportunity to go pro, giving us the opportunity to draft new and upcoming talent. We'll be watching to see who rises to the top over the next few months of competitive play and can't wait to put our team together and compete for a spot at the World Finals."

Do you think the Clash Royale League can be a success?
