Activision reveals the World Series of Warzone

The series of tournaments features the biggest Warzone influencers all battling for a massive cash prize pool.

Activision has announced a new Call of Duty: Warzone tournament called the World Series of Warzone. This event is slated to see the biggest influencers, streamers, and Call of Duty stars competing in a bunch of custom Warzone lobbies in the hopes of winning parts of a massive cash prize.

Right now, one event has been announced, the Call of Duty World Series of Warzone, but it will feature four individual events: two trios tournaments - one in North America and one in Europe, as well as two duos tournaments - also split between NA and EU. Each of the four tournaments will also feature a separate $300,000 prize pool to compete over.

The trios tournament is expected to begin as soon as next week, with qualifiers kicking off on May 25 at 1:00am BST / 2:00am CEST in the North American region. These qualifiers will allow the opportunity for anyone to be invited to the actual main event that is slated for June 23, although you will have to advance through a lot of different qualifiers to make that cut.
