Virtus.Pro has revealed that it is making a few changes to its Dota 2 roster, seeing a couple of players hitting the bench, with a new member coming in as a replacement.

Both Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko and Vitaly "Save-" Melnik are being moved off the active roster, and as for their replacement, that will come in the form on the "young prospect" Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko, who will be playing as the carry for the team. As for who will be joining as the fifth member of the team, that announcement is slated to be coming "shortly".

"Not everyone in the team was on the same page," said Sergey Glamazda, CEO of V.P. "Some players believed that we could not work out our issues and succeed in the current roster. Egor and Vitaly are highly skilled players and natural leaders. They were the founders of the VP.Prodigy roster that later became our main one. We've had our ups and downs in the last two years and I want to say thank you to the guys for this amazing journey we had together. Our goal remains the same: winning The International. It can't be done without constantly improving things and becoming a better team than we were a year before. We can't put personal goals before professional ones, so it was our mutual decision to move Nightfall and Save- to the inactive roster. The first addition to our team is a young carry player, Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko."

Following up to this, Glamazda also touched on what led the team to picking Pure, saying "When it came to the test games he quickly made it obvious that his abilities, reaction, hero pool and communication skills are something worth noticing. He has huge potential, which, if put to good use, can help him grow into a tier-1 player."
