The David Beckham-backed, London-based esports organisation Guild Esports has announced that it has signed a one-year sponsorship deal with the Californian athletic recovery company Hyperice.
As stated in a press release, we're told that this deal will see Hyperice named as Guild's official wellness technology partner, effective immediately, and that this makes Hyperice Guild's seventh signed sponsor.
"Guild is delighted to welcome Hyperice to our growing list of world-class sponsorship partners," said Kal Hourd, chief executive of Guild Esports. "Physical wellbeing is a key component of in-game performance in esports, and with this deal, Guild's roster of athletes will have access to the very best in sports recovery technologies. At the same time, we look forward to helping Hyperice increase its exposure to the huge esports audience worldwide."
The deal will also see Hyperice getting exclusive naming rights to the Recovery Room at Guild's HQ in London, and will also see the company providing the esports organisation with wellness technology.
