Blizzard World is the latest map arriving to Blizzard's Overwatch, a theme park map based on some of the company's famous franchises, and now we know via the official patch notes that those of you looking to try the new map out in Competitive play will have to wait until Season Nine to do so.
"The Blizzard World map will be disabled in Competitive Play until the start of Season 9. It will be available in Quick Play and Custom Games starting today," the patch notes from yesterday read. If you're unaware, Season Eight is in progress right now, and so after that the ninth season will start shortly after, introducing the weird and wonderful new location into the Competitive mix.
