Esports organisation Team Liquid has announced a partnership extension with technology brand Alienware. The deal that originally was slated for ten-years has been increased, and will see Alienware continue to supply hardware for Team Liquid, as it has since 2011.
This partnership is now claimed to be the longest hardware partnership in esports history, as well as being the longest partnership between an esports organisation and a gaming company.
The new partnership is also slated to focus on three areas, fan engagement, player performance and technology, and community opportunities - of which Liquid and Alienware has a variety of initiatives planned that you can read about here.
As usual with deals similar to this, the financials are yet to be determined.
