Reynor is your IEM Katowice 2021 Starcraft II champion

He is the first non-Korean Katowice winner ever.
Ben Lyons Senior Editor 1 marzo 2021

The Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2021 tournament has now concluded and besides seeing some explosive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive action, we now also have the Starcraft II IEM Katowice 2021 champion.

Riccardo "Reynor" Romiti took home the victory and the $65,400 in prize money, after defeating Joo "Zest" Sung-wook in a 4-2 series. This win has also made Reynor the first ever non-Korean player to win IEM Katowice ever, a feat that will surely be remembered in the history of competitive Starcraft II.

Reynor has seen success over the last few months, but this result does mark the pinnacle so far. We will have to watch closely to see whether he can replicate such a performance at the next Starcraft II tournament at the DreamHack Starcraft II Masters Summer 2021.
