We're a couple of weeks away from the beginning of the Rainbow Six: Siege Sweden Major, and ahead of that date, Ubisoft has released an event guide that both gives us a look at the format and schedule, but it also shows us the teams that have qualified for the tournament.

Set to begin on November 8 with a group stage that will run until November 10, the event will run until November 14 when the grand final is set to take place.

As for the qualified teams, 16 teams have made it to the event, with Team BDS, Team Empire, Team Vitality, and Rogue set to be Europe's competitors. For the rest of the world; Sandbox Gaming, Invictus Gaming International, Chiefs Esports Club, and DWG KIA are representing the Asia-Pacific region; Spacestation Gaming, Oxygen Esports, Susquehanna Soniqs, and DarkZero Esports are North America's competitors; and Furia Esports, Team oNe Esports, FaZe Clan, and Ninjas in Pyjamas are Latin-America's reps.

In terms of the format, for the group stage, each team will play every other team in their respective group, with the top two teams from that group moving to the playoffs bracket. In the playoffs, every match will be an elimination game, meaning teams only have one chance to make it to the grand final.

You can take a look at the full event guide here, which also touches upon the sanitary procedures for the event as well as the streaming plans.
