The United Arab Emirates-based esports organisation Galaxy Racer has announced that it has entered into a one-year partnership deal with Mashreq Bank, a deal that is looking to strengthen and expand the organisation's reach in the region.
As we're told in a press release, this deal will see the pair collaborating on a range of activations and initiatives, but will also see Galaxy Racer's jerseys decorated with one extra logo: that of Mashreq Bank.
"I am thrilled to announce our partnership with Mashreq Bank, especially as this is a first of its kind within the country," said Galaxy Racer founder and CEO, Paul Roy. "By combining our shared values and beliefs to nurture the next generation of gaming talent and content creators, we believe we can create some fun and engaging content and activations for our always-growing community."
There is no mention of the financials behind the deal, but we are told that there will be various tournaments hosted by the pair to continue to discover and cultivate a professional gaming scene in the region.
