There's probably a lot of young people around the world that wish that they could make a living from playing video games. Well, actually you can, if you're good enough.

It'd certainly help if you win the brand new tournament, World Electronic Sports Games, that has been created by the Chinese company Alibaba.

Almost $4 million dollars are on the line as prize money and half of that is reserved for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The special thing about this competition is that only teams with members from the same country will be able to compete. Some great teams will not appear because of this, and instead we will see something like a national team competition.

Besides the big prize pool, not much is known about the event's structure as yet, but the tournament will be held in China.
