The esports organisation LDN UTD has announced a partnership with the esports and gaming platform ARterra Labs. This deal will revolve around ARterra creating a batch of "digital collectibles" that aim to "enhance fan engagement, educate fans on the technology, and add value to LDN UTD's community".
It's said in a blog post that the deal will also see LDN UTD's creators able to get involved and to create their own designs for these collectibles related to LDN UTD events, as well as there being a "future loyalty scheme".
"Fan engagement is at the core of LDN UTD. We try to provide our community with innovative offerings and value, whilst aligning with organisations that align with our ethos and values," said Oliver Weingarten, CEO of LDN UTD. "From my first meeting with ARterra it was evident they have the right mindset, understand the ecosystem and want to collaborate with us to provide the community with a unique Web3 offering. I'm excited to get started".
There is no mention as to the length or financials behind this deal.
