Fnatic have revealed that Bora "YellOwStaR" Kim is retiring from esports after an exciting career as the most accomplished League of Legends player in European and American history.

YellOwStaR was there from League of Legends' beginning and over his six year career he won five LCS titles as well as competing in seven LCS finals and attending every World Championship before this year. Last year he also helped rebuild Fnatic after Paul "sOAZ" Boyer and Enrique "xPeke" Cedeño Martínez formed Origen, taking rookies to the World semifinals.

YellOwStaR has $167,221.97 US dollars to his name and ranks 25th on the earnings list for League of Legends, also being the highest ranked player from Europe or North America.

In a heartfelt farewell message via Facebook, Kim said "I'm now 24, and to be completely honest with you, I am feeling more and more exhausted after hours of playing. Everything has become more difficult to do for the last few months even though my inner motivation is still as strong as on the first day - that I can promise you."

Fnatic also posted a highlights reel of his greatest moments as well as their own farewell on their website. What were your favourite moments from this decorated career?
