DreamHack Leipzig not only hosted a StarCraft II World Championship Series event this past weekend, but we also got to see the DreamHack Open finals for Rocket League, in which PSG Esports (a part of the French football team Paris Saint-Germain) won the whole thing after a thrilling final against G2 Esports.

The match was pushed to a seventh game in fact, after a tense back-and-forth resulted in a 3-3 result after six games, and as if it was designed to entertain the crowd, it was an overtime goal that saw PSG win the title, ending the last game 2-1 and earning themselves $20,000 USD and their first major win as a team.

PSG had looked convincing throughout the tournament, and even in the grand finals won their sixth game against G2 7-1. Even Guess Who and Flipsid3 Tactics couldn't topple them in the playoffs, although Flipsid3 gave it a good go, leading 2-0 after the first two games.

Do you think PSG Esports can win a lot more?
