Following the success that it saw in 2021, Red Bull has announced that the Campus Clutch, global university Valorant tournament will be making a return later this year. Starting later this August, the tournament will be open to over 25,000 student Valorant players from over 50 different countries around the world, and will boast a prize pool of €20,000, which will be dished out during the December finals that will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

We're told that this year's event will also be an expansion of 2021's, as it's noted that there will be over 500 regional events, which is up from the 400 last year. Sign-ups for the tournament have already opened, with student players able to register their interest in fighting other teams within their nation, in the hopes of becoming the team that will represent each country during the finals in December.

Those who do win the World Final event later this year will also be rewarded with an "exclusive VIP experience at a 2023 Valorant Champions Tour event."

The press release announcing this information did also reveal that the various 2021 partners will be back to support the tournament, including the likes of Intel, SteelSeries, Agon by AOC, and with some new faces joining the fray, such as Backforce and National Express as the official public transport partner for the UK.
