According to a report from ESPN Phoenix1, an esports organisation known mostly for its League of Legends team, has filed for a trademark for the name Los Angeles Gladiators, according to filings from the US Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).
The same report also claims that Phoenix1 will operate one of the LA Overwatch League teams on Kroenke Sports & Entertainment's behalf, all of this coming allegedly from league sources.
The trademark filing was found by the High Noon Podcast, but it should be noted that this isn't officially confirmed by any party, so we should take this all with a pinch of salt. Do you think that this is feasible though?
