Team Liquid wins the StarLadder i-League Invitational Season 4

KuroKy becomes the first Dota 2 player to surpass 1,000 wins.
Sam Bishop 5 febrero 2018

Last month saw Genting, Malaysia host its own ESL One Dota 2 tournament in which Chinese team Newbee lifted the trophy, defeating their rivals Team Liquid who had beaten them at the huge International competition last year, but now Team Liquid have bounced back from their defeat in style, winning the StarLadder i-League Invitational Season 4 tournament in Shanghai, China at the weekend.

Team Liquid met LGD Gaming in the grand final of the competition, defeating them 3-1 in the series to take home the trophy, $135,000 USD, and 150 qualifying points, these being necessary to qualify for competitions in the future. Despite the loss at ESL One Genting, the team has a lot of success in the last year, including the i-League Invitational Season 3, The International, and Epicenter, just to name a few.

What's even more impressive is that Liquid player Kuro 'KuroKy' Salehi Takhasomi has now become the first ever Dota 2 player to surpass 1,000 wins after the competition, as celebrated by the team on Twitter.

Can Team Liquid go on to dominate this year?
